House/Full of Blackwomen
This site-specific ritual performance project created in collaboration with Ellen Sebastian Chang and a core group of phenomenal Black women in Oakland will come to a close with our 15th and final episode: "This Too Shall Pass"- March 4, 9, 10, 11 & 12, 2023 at Eastside Arts Alliance and other sites in Oakland. This journey that set out in 2015 to be a 2-year project that was created to address the displacement, well-being, and sex trafficking of Black women and girls in Oakland guided by the core question, "How do we as Black women find space to breathe, feel safe and be well within a stable home?" 7 1/2 years later, we will close this chapter.
