The Call IN is a monthly series of informal community conversations that decentralizes the “panel of experts” discussing relevant topics in favor of collective conversation sharing on a given topic with those who are present. The wisdom we need is already with us. Curated by amara tabor-smith, and based on “The Porch Chat” series they created during the height of the pandemic, these conversations are intended to cultivate meaningful community relationships, and create collective strategies for survival and well being in these uncertain times. This second conversation, "Empowering our Future Together" will be lead by Bay Area vocalist,activist and educator, Valerie Troutt who will lead conversation and process for creatives and activists on strategies for survival and mutual support in light of funding cuts.
